Charlie Caciano founded Morgan Consulting in 2001 as an extension of the accounting and business advisory practice he began in 2000. Mr. Caciano has over twenty-five years of experience in providing accounting, operational and financial leadership services to various entities. He grew up in Illinois in a family of modest means and was carefully groomed to be a first-generation college graduate and C.P.A. He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and later served as Vice President and Director of Operations for an institutional investment-consulting firm located in St. Louis, Missouri. As Vice President, he initiated investment advisory services tailored specifically for and marketed to pubic employees' retirement plans, taxable corporations, high-net-worth individuals and family offices focused on maximizing after-tax, capital and wealth management. Under his leadership as Director of Operations, the company experienced significant growth resulting in advised client assets in excess of $25 billion.
By the end of his decade-long service in public accounting and eight years of investment advising, Charlie had benefited from working with a number of colleagues who had gone on to prestigious careers in publicly-held corporations, family-owned businesses and numerous non-profit organizations in various industries. Over the years, they have become the founding client base of the firm. In his time with Morgan Consulting, Charlie has led engagements in every part of the firm's practice. He has shaped the firm’s development and its cumulative knowledge of the craft of business advisory services.
Mr. Caciano earned a B.B.A. degree majoring in both accounting and marketing from McKendree University and earned his M.B.A. degree at Webster University. He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1983 and holds the CGMA designation as a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Charlie has served among the distinguished faculty of the Institute for International Research and is a frequent conference speaker for associations such as the Central Association of College and University Business Officers. He has also served on numerous non-profit boards in Missouri and Illinois.
